My name is Brett, I'm 6'2" and I'm a complicated guy. I've been through a lot and I've seen a lot of things in my life. Music mends my life, in every sense. I'm a lover (but I move my weight) and I'm changing to become a better man. I've realized my flaws (as well as my strengths), although they may not be fatal to myself or others, I see that I could be a better person and I want to become what I used to be a long time ago (be it alone or with someone emotionally involved).
I'm a geek, a nerd; but my knowledge gets me where I need to go. I've been doing computer work for a long time now and my skills are great. It's a little funny because my coworkers look at me with amazement when I speak the geek -- I do hide it well, and I thank all in my past that helped sculpt it (faults and all).
I write poems. There is just something about them, I know I'm not good with letting people know how I feel, but my poems can do it for me. I used to hide them long ago, but now I think they're better outside. Poems are like a burst of emotion, something that sex and talking can't diffuse. I write a poem, and I just feel relieved, I feel like I can convey my message better through poetry than through talking.
