iPod Crash Analysis & Conclusion:

Well for those who have been following this little "series" you know that I started recording data from my iPod because I noticed it was crashing frequently. So after a month of collecting data I can finally give you a full analysis!

Total Uses: 103, Total Crashes: 64, [Type of Crash] Music Player Crash: 7, Safari Crash: 33, Music & Safari Crash: 9, Music Crash IN Safari: 2, OTHER: 12

Overall probability that when using iPod, it will crash: .6214 =62.14%

So what I define as a crash is when either the program stops working or when it stops working and takes me back to the home screen. The new type of crash: 'OTHER' was added because during times of "prolonged" use (usually about 5-10 minutes of Safari, watching a music video, or while syncing) the iPod would display an array of colors and eventually shut off & restart. Even though it would restart, you would still have to do a hard restart in order to snap it out of a cycle (colors, restart, etc.).

[Evidence]

So, all-in-all, I will end up taking my iPod back as soon as I can. Since the above evidence would happen at time of sync, new data cannot be moved onto it (mainly large files (i.e. videos) because they take the longest). So in conclusion:

You should probably get an iPod Touch, it's freakin' awesome.

And that doesn't mean bum it off me suckas...
